A Long Road Home Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit dog rescue organization incorporated in the State of New York, serving Nassau County since 2012. EIN: 36-4695500. We are an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff and no physical shelter.

Submitting an adoption, foster, or volunteer application through our Site does not guarantee approval or placement. All applications are reviewed at the sole discretion of A Long Road Home Inc. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason, including but not limited to home environment, lifestyle compatibility, or the needs of a specific animal.
You agree to provide truthful and accurate information in all applications. Submitting false information may result in disqualification and, where applicable, legal consequences.
Approved adopters and fosters must comply with all terms set forth in our separate Adoption Agreement or Foster Agreement, which will be provided upon approval.
All donations made to A Long Road Home Inc. are voluntary and non-refundable unless required by law. As a 501(c)(3) organization, donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please consult your tax advisor for guidance. Donation receipts will be provided upon request by emailing support@alongroadhome.org.
We reserve the right to use donated funds at our discretion in furtherance of our rescue mission, including veterinary care, supplies, transportation, and operational costs.

A Long Road Home Inc. is not liable for any incidents, injuries, or damages caused by an animal after the adoption or foster placement has been completed.
